In 1989 Joe and Marilyn opened the first Porcelain Art Studio in Olympia, Washington when Marilyn launched her teaching career. It wasn’t long before Joe and Marilyn were traveling throughout the Northwest, Florida, and even Europe where Marilyn has taught seminars and workshops in porcelain painting. Porcelain Painters of Olympia - PPO In 2002 the porcelain painters of Olympia formed a non-profit organization to promote the art of porcelain painting. Their meetings are held by-monthly in the Porcelain Art Studio. |
A Cozy Place to Come Paint &Visit The ladies love coming for lessons and taking workshops or seminars. We have a fireplace to keep us warm and cozy in the winter and air conditioning for hot days in the summer. The ladies love Joe’s lunches especially in the summer as we sit outside under the umbrella and enjoy the roses. |
White Roses Marilyn “Lyn” Anderson The roses shown in this brochure are cropped from a twelve inch round tile painted by Marilyn for the World Organization of China Painter 2004 Show. The original tile was on display at the WOCP Museum located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The tile has been returned & is on display in the Porcelain Art Studio located in Olympia, Washington. |
